The Monument to Victims of Famishment

The memorial complex to victims of the famishment of 1932-1933 is located on the Dnipro River hills, between the tomb to Unknown Soldier and Kyiv - Pechersky Monastery. The bases of a monument to victims of famishment are framed by four crosses. They are made from the iron sheets resembling prison lattices. In the centre of each cross - a stork. Before the memorial there is an avenue where there are angels, millstones from mills. From outside the monument resembles a silhouette simultaneously a candle and church.
